Meet Steve
This is Mr. Steve Cox. He has been coming to church with me for about 2 months now. A few weeks ago He made a comment to me, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and lead me to check Steve's salvation. After a few minutes of talking and questions, I saw Steve bow His head and trust Christ as His Saviour. Yesterday morning Steve walked the isle with me, spoke with our Pastor, and followed the Lord is Baptism. Amen! Praise God!

Same house, More souls
Last week I posted about Brandon Reed trusting Christ. I went back to His house Saturday to visit Him( he was not home), But I was able to lead Mis. Tina and her two children to the Lord at the same house. Praise God, He knew they would be there. My Pastor said something a few years ago in a sermon that I have not forgotten. He said something like this ( there is no accidental meeting of Gods Word with the lost). Praise God He uses people like us to spread His word.

Soul winning
This is Brandon Reed. I had the honor of showing Him the Gospel, and watching Him trust Christ this last Saturday. He told me He wanted to go to Heaven, but like so many people He believed He must be good to do so. Praise God that He did not require our goodness to get into Heaven, but that my sins are covered by the blood of the Lamb. Brandon was spending this past weekend with his family, but I am picking Him up for church this coming Sunday. God is good. Amen.

Arica's turn in the spotlight
I was just looking over our blog and thinking about our three kids Arica who is going to be 7 July 21st, Carter who will be 4 this summer, and Bailey who just turned 2. I was thinking mostly about Arica though, she is becoming a young lady and I think struggles the most of all three. She tries to help, but sometimes makes it worse. She has a big responsibility as the oldest child to do right, the other two follower her actions and attitude. I sometimes find myself being angry at her for her influence over the other kids, but then I have to remember she is only 6 and that it is not her responsibility to train the kids, it's mine. So this is just a special post to say "Arica I love you and hope nothing but the best for you, and that one day you will forget all my mistakes as a Father and just continue to Love people as they are, like you always have".

Andrew's wedding photos
Arica getting her hair done
Saturday morning we took Arica to the beauty shop to get her hair done for Andrew's wedding. She was nervous at first but did a good job sitting still and it turned out great.

Trip to Wisconsin
Here are a few pictures I snapped on our trip up to Wisconsin for my brother's wedding. It is a very long and hard trip especially for the kids but God is good and we made it there safely.

| This is a picture of the Mississippi River. I snapped it from a moving car on a rainy day so hopefully it's not too blurry. |

| These are of St. Louis, Missouri as we drove by on the by-pass. It was as close as we got to the arch but the kids enjoyed seeing it. |

Carter's new bike
Carter had his physical therapy today. She brought him a special bike that was made for him. He can pedal it with his feet and or his hands. He had a great time in the driveway and of course was sad when it was time to come in. As a parent of a special needs child I am sometimes overwhelmed at the support we receive from family, friends, church family and agencies set up to help with needs like Carter has. I don't know how many people actually read this but let me just say a big thank you to all who help us as we raise our little gift from God. Thank you once again! Please enjoy the pics below.

On the road with Carter
![]() |
| Carter and I headed out for Dallas this past Wednesday for one of his many annual appointments at the Dallas Children's Hospital. We stopped early for gas. Praise God it was $3.33 a gallon. |
![]() |
| Then we got something to eat. Carter decided to eat his burrito from the top. Carter has always done things his own unique way. |
![]() |
| Carter always enjoys the many games and activites they have in the waiting room |

| Carter and I have a special tree in the parking lot at the hospital. I have spent many hours by this tree waiting for appointments or just simply praying . |

East Texas Living
As I was finishing work this evening I took these pictures of a beautiful sunset. I was thinking how good God has been to me. He gave me work, you can see the row of trucks along the bottom. He has given me a great church. Most of all a wonderful family. He truly is too good to me. I love East Texas, and all that has happened here.

Playing at the park
It was a beautiful day yesterday and I had a rare opportunity to take Carter and Bailey to the park. Bailey was really hard to keep up with as she seems to be our fearless child. Carter did okay but was much more cautious. It is amazing to me how the kids each have their own unique personalities. Enjoy the pictures.

Wednesday Evening Soul winning
It was my honor last night to lead this man Mr. Willy Skinner to Christ. When I first approached him, he told me he thought he had to be good and love everybody to go to heaven. I was able to take Gods Word ( inspired King James Bible) and show him how he could know he was going to heaven. Mr. Skinner bowed his head, sitting in front of a pawn shop waiting on his bus and ask Christ for that free gift of eternal life. Amen! Praise God! I was then able to show Mr. Skinner from John chapter 10 how he is now in the Fathers hand and nothing can remove him from that. I'm so thankful for a church and a pastor that keeps personal soul winning the number one activity.

Carter and I
This is Carter and I on the platform with Pastor. Our Spring Sunday School Campaign is (I want that mountain), with a lumberjack theme. Carter and I went all out in our dress up for the Sunday evening service. Carter was so cute in his little outfit Pastor wanted everyone to see him, and I got suckered into it as well. We love our church and we love being a part of all that goes on here. Hope you enjoy the pics. The first is one I took at the house, the other was from a friend.

Carter and physical therapy
Once again with a little break in school, I was able to be a part of Carter's therapy. He really enjoys it and it has made dramatic improvements on his ability to be somewhat independent. The funny thing about Carter is he enjoys almost everything he does and to him he does not even realize he is in therapy. To Carter he is just playing on a big red bouncy ball. I think God gives grace to special little boys so life is not as hard for him as we may think it is sometimes. We are so thankful for our little Carter man.

Preaching in Union Grove Texas
This past Sunday I had the honor of filling the pulpit for Bro. Zappa and the Union Grove Baptist Church. I preached on the greatest verse in all the bible John 3:16. I preached that this verse contains:
1. The greatest God
2. The greatest love
3. The greatest mission field
4. The greatest gift
5. The greatest grace
It was a great learning experience for me. I'm thankful to my pastor Dr. Bob Gray II for giving us preachers a chance to serve in real life ministry work. Here are a few picture of the service. Special thanks to the TBC quartet for providing our music for the morning service.

Great week soul winning
God is good. He used me this week to see 8 souls saved, and a family came to church with me and were baptized. God will use any one. This in Nick Small pictured here, just coming out of the water. God is good.
